Collingwood and Nicky Winmar will unite at AFL Gather Round on Sunday in a landmark move to repair the pain that prompted the St Kilda great to take football’s most powerful stand against racism. The 57-year-old will stand with the Magpies and his beloved Saints at Adelaide Oval, one day short of 30 years since the Hall of Famer lifted his guernsey and pointed to his skin in a defiant response to abuse at Victoria Park.
